FiscoBridge Desktop POS is a fast, modern point of sale for retail and restaurants with tax-authority fiscalization built in through the FiscoBridge SDC. It pairs a touch-friendly till — product grid, cart management, shifts, promotions, customer display, PDF and thermal receipts, reports and a full audit log — with automatic fiscal signing of every sale, even offline. The Lite edition covers everything a single till needs, while Pro adds restaurant table management, a customer database, advance billing and full inventory management with purchase orders and low-stock alerts. Explore the complete feature set on the Desktop POS page.
A fast product grid, cart management, quantity dialogs and open pricing — built for touch screens and busy counters.
Open and close shifts, record cash in and out, and print X & Z reports with full cash reconciliation.
Create automatic promotions and apply line or cart discounts through a built-in, rules-based discount engine.
Print ESC/POS thermal receipts at the counter and generate formal PDF invoices for email or B2B customers.
See revenue by payment type, sales by category and your top sellers — with a clear daily dashboard at a glance.
Keep selling when the internet drops. Invoices are signed and queued locally, then synced automatically on reconnect.
Both FiscoBridge SDC and Desktop POS are compatible with most modern systems and architectures. Internet connectivity is recommended for cloud synchronization and real-time reporting, though the software operates offline when needed. Mobile versions for iOS and Android are coming soon. For specific system requirements or compatibility questions, please contact our support team.
Downloading and installing FiscoBridge software takes just a few minutes. Simply pick your product above, download the installer, and follow the on-screen setup wizard. With the SDC you can test all features for free using training invoices or sandbox smart cards (available for developers) before purchasing a subscription — no payment information required. Once you're ready to go live, choose an SDC subscription plan or a Desktop POS licence (both available as Lite or Pro) and activate it in seconds.
No. FiscoBridge SDC is designed for ease of use. The installer guides you through setup with clear, simple steps and most users complete installation in under 15 minutes. Our support team is available if you need assistance.
Yes. FiscoBridge SDC exposes a simple REST API that any POS can integrate with. Your POS sends transaction data to the SDC, which signs the invoice, reports it to the tax authority, and returns the fiscalized invoice for printing — typically a few days of integration work for a POS developer. Full technical details and request/response examples are available in the POS-to-SDC integration guide.
Any POS — desktop, web, or mobile — can integrate with FiscoBridge SDC. Because the SDC exposes a standard REST API, there is no platform lock-in and no proprietary SDK to learn. If you don't have a POS yet, FiscoBridge also offers browser-based Web Invoicing and a growing list of accounting and ERP integrations (Xero, MYOB, Zoho Books, Sage, Odoo, Dynamics 365, Lightspeed, Shopify POS).
Production smart cards and PFX certificates are issued by your local tax authority — for example FRCS in Fiji, the Ministry for Revenue in Samoa, or the Department of Customs and Inland Revenue in Vanuatu — through their official taxpayer portal. While you wait, you can install FiscoBridge SDC and test everything end-to-end using our sandbox smart card or training invoices. Contact our support team if you need help with the certificate enrolment process.
FiscoBridge SDC is officially accredited in Fiji (FRCS VMS v3) and Vanuatu (VSMS), and supports fiscal compliance in Samoa (TIMS). We are actively expanding to additional Pacific Island nations — if you don't see your country listed, get in touch.
Yes. Download the installer above, run it, and you can test the full feature set using training invoices or a sandbox smart card. No credit card or payment details are required for the trial. When you are ready to fiscalize real transactions, choose a Lite or Pro plan and activate your licence in seconds.
Yes. FiscoBridge SDC continues to sign and queue invoices locally when your connection drops, then automatically syncs everything to the tax authority once you are back online. You never need to stop trading because of an internet outage, and no compliance data is lost.
FiscoBridge SDC checks for updates on launch and applies them automatically in the background — no manual reinstall needed. Tax authority changes, security patches, and new reporting features all roll out the same way, so every install stays compliant with the latest requirements.
Absolutely. FiscoBridge SDC uses 256-bit TLS encryption for every connection and industry-standard security protocols to protect all transaction data, invoices, and audit trails. Data is stored in compliant databases with full audit logging — and your PFX certificate never leaves your device unencrypted.
